8... e5 is generally frowned upon for black as the hole on d5 can be a major pain in the butt!
12...gxf6 is kinda stupid IMO, Qxf6 is much more sound than destroying a permanent home for his king.
Black just played really poorly after nicely executing the initial moves of the Najdorf!

I thought you played a solid game and capitalized on the mistakes black made. And I agree with both of the points Wil made above about e5 and gxf6. Thanks for sharing!

I think the d5 pawn move was a slow move.. Black shd have been castling, think he was pannicking at how active ur pieces are:P Could have done d5 after castling bringing the c6 night to cause problems. Nice patient way of going about the whole plan though. much appreciated thks 4 sharing

11.axb3 would have been a better move at that point because then you wouldn't have been giving up the d4-square. If your opponent had taken advantage of this with 11...Nd4!, you would have had to ward off a tough attack from Black, and maybe exchange pieces on d4; giving Black a passed d-pawn. In general, giving up any of the central squares should be the last thing you'd want to do.
Otherwise, a nicely played game.
Interesting game. Please help.
