What a weird game this was. Some kind of strange Sicilian.......
Post your best miniatures here
I know I (somewhat) misplayed the opening but that's because I legitimately don't know the theory (played it based on my instincts)
That looks similar to the Two Knights Opening or the Evans Gambit. Interesting development
Theoretically it's very distinct from the Evans gambit but yea it's similar in the sense that through this gambit white plans to get quick development and open lines
maybe not quite a miniature but a nice attacking game anyway. tell me what you think
A pretty interesting game, nicely done on refuting the gambit. Also I am wondering what 11.O-O-O could potentially lead to, given the sharp position with opposite castles

Wow! Mind-blowing attack, really love how you punished the weakness created by e6 and the overextending g5 and g4.
Apparently after Ne4 there's another interesting line I found when looking at it with Stockfish suggesting gxf3 and after you continue with Nf6+ there is Qxf6+!! exf6 fxg2! recovering some lost material with a double-edged position

because the posistion was quite closed I probably could have done the same sort of attack which ever side I had castled on
Quick win in the Reti
Nice. Black probably expected 8.Qxg4.
