dragon variation??? Really? I think the dragon variation comes about after black plays g6 at any time.

after Qxd6 its over for him? what about blacks response Bxd6

Sorry I was mistaken about Qxd6 my position on my analysis board was set up incorrectly. Dragon Variation? This is a closed variation.

It's not a dragon, but it is an open sicilian. True white plays 2.Nc3 but then it tranposes to an open Sicilian after white plays 4.d4.
