I just realized it's more than two years ago I played this game, but I would still like to share it. Of course for reasons of vanity as well as it serves to show that even openings with a reputation of calmness (or boredom, as some might say) can lead to very entertaining games.
I hope you'll enjoy this one:
Interesting play
I think I have better solution (may be wrong):
37.Rg2+ Kf8 38.Rg8+ Ke7 39.Nd5+ (Q should take) Ke6 40.Qf6#
If 39...Qxd5 40.cxd5+ (if Kxd5) 41.Qf3+ Ke6 42.Qf6+ Kd5 43.Rxd8 Kc6 44.Rxd7 Kxd7
45.Be5 Ne8 46.Qxf7+ etc.
Very nice mate.
Alas, in your line 39.Nd5+ can be answered with Nxd5.
I always seem to overlook something
