I just played a game using the Reti Gambit.  It's against the French Defense.  I had an extremely aggresive game with it.

I thought this was a very good game.

Trying to research this...mainly ending up with the Reti opening.  Which part is the gambit?  e4?

I don't dislike this opening, in fact, I like how it can go into several other openings.  The Reti opening is usually moving Nf3 first right?

Reti Opening indeed starts with 1.Nf3, but many other openings have their own Reti Variations that should not be confused with 1.Nf3, there were many openings waiting to be discovered at the times of Reti you know Wink

i've played many 1. Nf3, 2. b3 games but i will try that first move, 1 e4. probably get spanked a few times but it looks like my kind of game with the quick queenside castle & the pawnstorm with a sac to finish. very cool ! many of my games with 1. nf3 resembled yours but they took more time to get the rooks over & the pawns going. thanks much !
