I played this guy on facebook, this is one of only two times I've beaten him. Features a nice combination in the rosenthal defence of the kieseritzky gambit that is probably not entirely sound but looks great and is hard to spot.

I've never heard of the rosenthal defence of the kieseritzky gambit, but have enjoyed watching your gameplay. Thanks, again for the information.

Yeah, neither had I, But I think it's probably the best move, the pin is rather nasty, since the knight and the pawn involved in the pin are en prise. It should go on 5... Qe7 6 d4 d6 7 Nxg4 Qxe4+ 8 Qe2 Qe7 9 Qxe7 Bxe7 10 Be2 and white looks rather uncomfortable.

yeah i play the kings gambit alot but i have never seen that, it does seem like a good move...

 

funny how sometimes really good opening moves are totally left out by books and such... just shows how vast of a game chess is
