It's always fun to get a scholar's mate. It's effective for people who are learning the game and know some basic opening principles and tactics, because they know to try and getcontrol of the center of the board and they might and just try to take the opportunity.
Sometimes when you get a little higher ranked you discount the scholar's mate as facile, but you should always keep it in the back of your mind-and here is a perfect example.
