the yugoslav attack is my favorite choice when facing the sicilian, it leads to fantastically sharp games, with gorgeous positions for both sides. 

however, my opponent in this game, who also plays the yugoslav as white, chooses early to deviate from the mainline, and quickly realizes why it is perhaps best to choose counterattacking chances on blacks side, than to try and exchange pieces and swim for calmer water.

Very nicely played -- I also play the Yugoslav as white.  In this game I think black needed to start that queenside rush to counter your kingside attack.  His play was just too slow.

I guess your opponent is just trying to make you feel more confident after winning 10 straight games with you.  What a friend he is!
