Hello, everyone. I found a nice chess game today and I thought I might share it with you. Howard Staunton faces off against Bernhard Horwitz in this little 12-move miniature that took place in London, 1846. I did not analyze this game nor did it come with analysis so would anybody like to do that for me? : )

6...Nc6 looks to me like it was a mistake. 

I used to play Bird's opening in this fashion - w/ f4, e3 and c4.  

Fun little game though.

Dang, he didn't play the Staunton Gambit!

Poor Horwitz (guess that Nxd5 idea didn't work)...
