Here is a game I just finished from the 2nd Chess.com tournament. It shows the power of having your pieces on active squares - in this case my SUPER bishop.

Almost seemed like black didn't see the coming threat though... or he couldn't work out how to save the situation. 25... f6 seems like a pretty significant blunder.
The bishop on B3 was good, but there is no way I would brand it with anything more than a minor role in the game. Your other bishop was much more active.
