I finally finished this game, the opponent, so distraught with my saving move (or so I believe) put all his games on vacation in response to White's final move and let himself time out almost a month later.  I did some post-mortem analysis and found that I had actually won the game and maybe even an 8 or 9 move forced mate a little earlier, but missed it.  Still, I thought it was an instructive attack in converting positional bonuses to material ones and using tactics to close out the game.
