Very strange.

  I of course can't recommend such an odd opening, but it seems to be effective!

I recommend the Scandinavian Defense (1... d5), as a more serious attept that doesn't require to much knowledge.

I will be making a forum on the Fred soon. 1. e4 f5 is the Fred Defense, or Duras Gambit. 1. e4 f5 2. exf5 Kf7 is known as the "Southern Fred". Does anyone have a clue on just why this opening is called the "Fred" defense?
