Sike. This is a high school game I played last week as white and won. I'm pretty happy with it but looking for any analysis, comments, places where I or my opponent messed up. Thanks.

the dude you were playing made some pretty aggrievous errors and you took good advantage of them. you should work on distancing your skill from these kind of players even further good job.

he definitely shouldnt have killed that pawn with his bishop instead he shouldve concentrated on shoring his defenses and looking towards your king side maybe with something like c6 instead of bxa3

His biggest overall mistake was attacking queenside.  You said it yourself, that opposite castles create a lot of attacks, but this is usually because it's a race to open files at the king especially with no queens on the board.  You were also right that about him opening up that second file, but instead of punishing him by taking his pieces, punish him with mate.

Thanks for the comments although I don't know much I agree with the "aggrievous errors." I think taking the pawns on my queenside was an error but besides that I didn't think he played a very bad game.
