It is better to play in the style of Jose Cappuccino with 1.f3 e5 2.Kf2!

I think on move 14 I would have went with Bf4 which is checkmate  :-)

Anthony, I may be a bit confused with my terminology here, but I believe Hypermodern play is to develop the PIECES instead of the KING first. Your line is the Hammerschlag, which involves classical moves like g4, h4(in certain lines) or the centre hammer preparing for the d4 break(in the main line).

Hypermoern chess is the act of trying to control the center without actually occupying it.

I thought hypermodern was the theory of controlling the center with pieces rather than pawns.  Is it some new variation of chess with different rules...how do you win?
