What to do when Chess.com server is down?

Some ideas:

  1. Stare at the screen and play Imagination Chess!
  2. Get up and go to the bathroom. You know you've been holding it in too long.
  3. Poke your head out the window and see what season it is.
  4. Better yet, poke your head into the other room and see how big your children have gotten since your last logoff.
  5. Compose a long, nasty note to Chess.com staff complaining about how your human rights are being violated (this seems popular).
  6. Eat something--you're wasting away!

come on guys, it's obvious what you should do when chess.com goes down.  Just sit there hitting f5 every few seconds until it comes back.  Laughing

Get fit!

Lift up your laptop, or desktop!

Hold deep breath!

Do not eat at the same time...

Turn on the CNN news!

Maybe something fraud happen at the Election on the Chessland, abroad?..

Put down the laptop, or the desktop, if you still hold it up...

Turn on! It's no power at your house? Good!

It is not a chess website problem!

Actually, Little Chess Partner comes up now, so you can have a quick game and beat it, like I just did Smile

Well I went and grabbed a piece of pie.  Played around with Rybka.  Sent a few emails out to friends that I used to have before I joined this site ... very refreshing... and I did it all with less than 20 seconds away from my computer.

When chess.com is down, I envitably find myself googling "the meaning of life" over and over again.  Hoping...praying...to find something worth living for outside of this site...
