Hi, here's one of my games from a recent tournament. Both players missed wins, but i prevailed in the endgame. Enjoy!

Hi BIGMAC, That is very young to play tournaments! Do you play BCA? Is this your first year?

I started tournaments at age 12. But I did not win my first game until my 4th tournament. I got American Elo rating of 777 then. About 23 in BCA rating. But eventually I got to Expert & Master. One in tournaments. The other for Chess by correspondence, much like here. I wanted to tell you Good Luck with Chess. And I will watch for you to be Grandmaster someday.

Also to say, my friend is a FIDE Master. In one of his games with Grandmasters, he had the same thing happen as you did. He had a chance to win a whole piece vs the GM, but missed it & so the chance was gone. But the GM also missed winning that game. And they ended with a Draw. You see, it can happen to even the very best Chess players sometimes.  :)

Cheers, Craig A.C.

Thank you for all your comments. I agree trhat missing a win is horrible, but at least I won in the end. I could post another game somewhere.
