When terrible players make great plays

    Fresh

    So... I just played a 15/0 game on FICS.  My rating is around 1550 or so, my opponents was similar.  I have never played much "OTB" timed chess to any real success.  As proof by this game...  Also, I am the worst tactical player ever, probably.  But apparently a little creativity pays off.

     

    Thoughts?

    He should play 25... Qxf7 (with the possibility of trading off with 26... Qf4+).  But the "worst tactical player ever" wouldn't see the possibility that you did!

    Very nice.  Was going to make the same comment as above about 25...Qxf7.  You took a risk and it paid off!  Very satisfying.
