This is probably one of my worse losses ever.  I lost on time because my laptop mouse wouldn't move fast enough (I had 4 seconds on the clock) :(

Ouch.

It's not your worst loss (unless by default, if you are otherwise undefeated), since this one was clearly not your fault.  I would rather lose this way than lose because of something stupid that I did (which, I am afraid, is how I tend to lose my games).

@ Vance917, I suppose that's true; a tleast I knew the mate in my head, and OTB I would've been able to play it no problem.

Next time I'll be sure to use an external mouse :)

What time controls were you using?

10 mins per person, no interval.

I'm sure it happens dozens, hundreds, or maybe thousands of times a day that someone runs out of time in a winning position. But for some reason, whinging about it never gets old.
