According to Polgar's site, Robson is very close to his 3rd norm.

great..
He did it!
A draw in the penultimate round secured the tournament win and thus his 3rd norm.

I wouldn't compare Robson too closely to Fischer either. Bobby got his title by winning a place in the Candidates, i.e. competing among the best for a place to challenge the WC. Bobby had also won the US championship.
Robson is great, though. No fooling.
I hope he sticks with the game and wins at very high levels as Carlsen has.
I wanna see Robson v. Carlsen so bad...
Why would you want to see Robson humiliated ? He's no match for Carlsen ...... not even close.
Well, no, I take that back. I wanna see it, but in about 5 years. Ray's a few years behind, though I believe still at the same progressive rate.
Right now Carlsen has about 275 rating points on Robson.
A close match between them won't be soon.
Carlsen is going to be world champ within ten years!
I'd like to say sooner, but am reluctant because so far he doesn't have top-level match experience. Maybe 5 years would be realistic if things go well.
Victor Hugo once got so mad he hurled a baseball through a dog D:
Ow. You hurt my feelings.
Poor ole goldendog...just wants to play and make friends...
so the America got 4 GMs this year. Hess, Leinderman,Finegold and Robson.
We love your shiny coat goldendog. As a token of our esteem, you get to eat people food tonight!
Woohoo! Meatballs!
It's news like this that just makes me want to give up :-D.
