Can you guys tell me how to checkmate a king vs 2 bishops & a king in fewest possible moves?
I can do it but sometimes it takes me extra moves..
On the link there's a "Best Move" button. click that until you've won.
Was wondering if there is anyone good at chess to actually explain how? Rather than pressing the solutions button.
Did you see my comment outlining it. Just remember it and no matter if 5 or 500 games go by and you forget what you saw in the video you will mate with the 2 Bishops and King vs King.
If you want the shortest amount of moves we can not help. This comes with practice. I do not care how much material you see it takes practice. Good part is that after a week or 3-5 games it is easier than you think. The short version of those rules is just to force the King to the side of the board. Then do what you do and not let the king away from the side of the board with help from the king while the Bishops manoeuvre into position.
There is no prize for doing it in the fewest possible moves. If you have the general idea, there is no way you will get close to the 50-move rule, and all you have to watch out for is stalemate.
Yeah he has to do it in the fewest amount of moves. Rember this is Chess.com. With 3-5 days a move that game will drag out to 6 months if your not sure and your opponent drags it looking for a blunder. At the same time they(with just a King) say prove you know how to mate in that situation.
Just watch chessnetwork's YouTube video
I couldn't have said it better myself dude. Thanks.
just wondering do you know how to mate with bishop and knight versus alone king?
look at it as a puzzle.it is instructive to solve with minimum possible of moves.
Estragon is of course right. If you can do it, spend your time on something more productive.
