only if your opponent does the same move 3x as well...

are you talking about live chess?? one or both players has to claim the draw, and the position needs to be repeated three times. In a game too you have to claim the draw

No. The position has to be repeated 3 times, not your move.

its only fair to have that rule! if not u might get some one very stubborn that just keeps it going and going and going and going well u get the idea......

Even in regular chess the person has to claim a draw.

its supposed to be automatic Stalemate no draw....you draw with pencils and pastels knuckleheads...

Stalemate is a specific kind of draw in which a player is not in check but cannot move any pieces.  3 repeated moves is not a stalemate.

Stalemate starts with a "S" and a draw with a "D" get a clue....
