I would watch the criticism. This is Ferlop we are talking about, and chess.com would not be the same without him.
If you can learn to sift the words carefully, there is a wealth of wisdom in Ferlop's forum posts.

I often despair for the human race. we are a frightened people, because of which we are an unpleasant people with a narrow, parochial view of who we are and what is important to us.
then i realise that on a 4.5 billion year old planet in a 14 billion year old universe, human civilization has only existed for a few thousand years. we are children, and we will grow up.
