hi i like playing normal chess but is it possible to make 3D chess board on here

and learn how to play it

ok a bit of a star trek fan but like to add something extra to chess

 

just an idea what do the creators of this site and you think?

This site does not have the capabilities.

The Star Trek analogy aside, I have often pondered this idea. The obstacle would be visibility. 

As well, rules would have to be accomodated.

I am sure a 3-D board would require much more rendering, thus making it harder on the servers, and would probably slow everything down overall.  Not sure that would be the most efficient use of resources....Wink

well i think that 3d chess would be a good thing for this site i have a friend that plays on here constantly so i can see what he does on here i play him a few times as well. but ya 3d chess i think would be a great addition
