A circle has two sides: An inside and an outside.

Well, it should technically be "if x is further from 0 than r". Because if r is -2 and x is 1, x is still bigger than r, but r² - x² is 4 - 1 = 3 (because negative number squared gives a positive number). And √3 ≠ i.

And that cubic ball is awesome. 

You do bring up a good point. Maybe Chess.com can create some new premium trophies and charge for access to them.

r is supposed to be positive. And if technically, it would be easier to put |x|>|r| and we are forgetting that the same holds for y .
