For god's sake, 4.Ng5 is NOT the Fried Liver attack. Only 6.Nxf7 is the Fried Liver.

Black is not lost in the fried liver (which you said on move 10 or something), it's slightly better for white at best, but of course here black is up a rook too, so black should be winning. Of course it's not easy to defend a king on e6 so I'm not suprised the amateur couldn't handle it.

It seems very wrong of black to go in an ultra sharp line (where material matters by far the least), when choosing anything else would've been much more sensible if he's up a rook.
