I found the game and it was indeed great fun and thank you. Tried to leave a message there and was immediately "kicked out". My main question was what if 39...Kg6?? As game is no longer before me, I did not give it a good look.

You are right and I had to go back there to see why. It now seems to let me leave messages there although I now had nothing to say. Again, really interesting game.
