aborting games

Why do players abort games? I find that quite a few players of 200 points better than me would rather abort the game than play against me.I play chess for the fun of the game and will play any one who is paired against me by the computer.

Surely the lesser players of the game are entitled to a lesson from far superior players.I do not mind losing and quite often review where I have gone wrong.I do not mind losing to lower rated players. At the end of the day we are all chess players whatever status we have acheived. Some people(myself included) learn more from losing a game to a higher rated player than by trying to learn tactics from any chess site

So come on you highly rated players give your minnions a chance of beating you. Or are you just afraid of making that one mistake that ultimately costs you the game

    Totally agree Sir.

I like playing higher rated opponents, to learn from them. More often than not, I will get my a$$ kicked, but so what? I prefer to learn from those better than me.
