I was wondering how long does a person have before they are considered inactive? Sometimes I go to players file and try to select someone in my rating category to challenge to a game. Many times I have to sort through players that haven't been online in months. It would seem that after 2 or 3 months that they would be considered inactive and their file would be deleted much as old e-mail is deleted? Thoughts?
i am really sure that any chess-operator wait for 2, maybe 3 years, before he delete an account ...
The list of players indicates some have been offline 12 months. Seems that is the limit.
Used to be 3 months but players come and go. Likely to have members drop out for the summer and come back in the winter.
