you clicked on this post because yes, the Advertisement videos now on chess.com are weak and 1) they destroy further chess learning by wasting focus and time.

 Do you know you can set preferences so that it only shows up on the homepage?

For instance, I am not seeing it now and, more importantly, I do not see it when I am playing, analysing, doing tactics trainer etc.

It's under "account" and then "privacy" and then set  "chat tool" to "home page only."

Actually, now that I went there I see you can disable all-together now. Either this is new or I missed it the first time.

Now I am COMPLETELY free of it...lol.

I would not mind it if I used the chat feature, but I am here to play chess, not to chat.
