I am back-to-back winner of the "Least Computer Skills Award". Would anyone be able to guide me in the process of adding Crafty to the Chess Position Trainer?

This year, I'm going to challenge you for that title. I will bring glory to my family name!

En Garde!

You're up for some challenges! I never turn off the PC to avoid all the obstacles to get it started again.

I'm not a computer whiz, but I know how to do this one..sorry for taking so long to respond.

If you do not have crafty on your computer, download it and place it in a folder that you know. Open CPT and select the options button on the top. Use the arrow key at the top of the options popup until you see the engine button. Click it. There you will click the browse button and specify the path to the crafty engine (or whichever engine you wish to use). If you have any questions, just e-mail me and I'll help ya.

I don't really know which version to download. They write a lot of scary stuff about "processor settings" on the craftychess site

Get crafty 19-01...I use it with no problems...you could also just d/l the Fritz 5.32...either one will work really.
