I know that the owners of this site are working very hard on keeping it running as it is and on improving it though i would like to mention two ways which could benefit the community (if these have already been mentioned I apologise, I don't look at the forums a lot) If possible I would also like to ask those here who have commented to add in their comments some other useful perks that they think would help(only 2 came to my mind at this time).

Firstly I think that it would be quite helpful if there is a feature in live chess that allows us to see how our rating would change if we were win/lose/draw a given player, just like the one in online chess.

Secondly i think it would be helpful if the online chess chat was upgraded so that people can see when a message was posted.

I am not a programmer and do not know how easy it will be to install them though I don't think it will be much of a challenge to Erik and his team

Do you mean if someone says something in chat, the chat box should flash so you know that something has been said?

He means you get to see the timestamp of the message basically

I thought you meant like a browser add-on that tells you when you have activity (your move, challenges, invites, comments). Now THAT would be a good future, it would keep me off the site quite nicely.

Good idea,i have one suggestion in addition to these two,i think it will be better if you will know,before accepting someone's seek,from which country he/she is,because sometimes you want to play with somebody who is from the same country as you.
