You're in an online game and have to go away for a while.

I drop my opponent a note on the chat window, let them know I want to continue but i'll be away until - whenever.  my 2 day clock is running of course.

 here's the question.

If I stay logged in, it looks to my opponent and world like i'm online.

I'm not really on vacation, so I don't want to post a vacation message.

I'd sorta prefer to stay logged in so I can sit down and resume without delay, but should I log out so people don't think i'm online?

What's the norm?

(ps - is there a way to post an 'away from my desk' message?

-cheers

Nothing wrong there. You don't have to move until ur ready. If u agreed on playin otb like, just drop a note by and you'll be ok.
