Anand Guilty of Losing?

Sort:

I've read a lot about this new guy, Carlson, who everyone is fawning over as some kind of genius or whatever, because he's beat GM's and IM's.

Up to now they didn't find any evidence that he's any better than Anand, after all the abuse he's been put through with that childish world championship match [sic- I don't see anyone from Greenland there so it can't be a world championship]. I'm sure Anand could win and sue for how FIDE has wrongly taken away his title.

All evidence against Anand is statistical and circumstantial. Just because Carlsen has the highest rating in history and won what, two games out of twelve against Anand?

I feel like I should insert something incomprehensible about a strange protuberance and computer way of feeling about GM's and IM's because then I will be safe (?)!

So the lesson is beware of losing because then everyone will go crazy and take away titles that you rightfully earned with your computer ways! Or something...

I totally agree! Anand should sue this Carlsen guy for robbery!!

Carlsen had a childhood dream and hope, reached for the stars, and achieved his impossible dream.  This makes people jelly, but instead of justifying it people should reach for the stars and never give up hope themselves.

Yes! Why should the World Chess Championship be decided by having two opponents play a board game, of all things?!

Defies logic.

I propose a new rule for the world championship: Use of the
"Roshambo" to not only decide who gets white, but also as a way to take draws off the table. Instead of being allowed to draw, the opponents must kick each other in the crotch. The last one standing wins the game.

Looser.

I'm just shocked you had some to begin with.  Can I go drinking with you?

In interviews, Carlsen has staten it wasn't a childhood dream but rather a recent goal he set.

Let us not say Anand is guilty of losing. That just sounds terrible.

Let's say he is...... innocent of winning!

I hear a whooshing sound. I look over the heads of the other chess players...some strange object just flew overhead. It had a rather sharp point to it.

I certainly hope it was you spritzing this goofy wasteland and giving it all a lemony-fresh shine!

Actually it's http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=roshambo

Not the same thing except in the loosest sense of the word with the french general you mentioned. For one, the modern version doesn't involve dueling with pistols like the french used to do. Instead it involves a foot and a pair of nuts. But great job managing to take a joke and turning it into an unnecessary history lesson that sucks the life out of the joke. You're so smart! You must be a riot at parties! Yell
