Does my computer have a virus or has chess.com really put into place an awful music player popup for free members that permanently lurks at the bottom of our browser?  It's called "SongzaSets" or some cr@p like that.

So, still not sure if this is an actual ad by chess.com or a virus on my computer.  Can anyone help me out?  Right now the permanent banner at the bottom of my chess.com screen says "Join Match.com"...

Thanks to everyone who took the time out of their day to respond...  Yea but seriously, I've still got this annoying advertisement plastered to the bottom of my screen every time I come to chess.com.  Is it a virus, or an awful idea by chess.com to push their advertising?

right now it says "Meet Attractive Singles Near you"  (Match.com).  I don't think I've seen it say "meebo" yet .

Im guessing its an add(s) connected to the chatbar. try going to "Account" then "privacy settings" and go down to "chat bar"... change to "never show"

Wow thanks a lot maul, that worked.  It's a relief I don't have to deal with that stuff clogging up my screen anymore.  I was beginning to have a grudge with chess.com but now I'm ok.  Thanks again dude.  Cool
