Interesting! Thought you'd never ask. I do know a Romanian girl, I met at the chess cafe. Though I've met her, but I've never played her OTB, my friends had that honor. But, on the other side of the coin I'm friends with her here on chess.com. We finished 3 games already. She comes out to the cafe randomly, so no guarantees when I'll see her again.

Well that's pretty cool, she might be back!

I beat her pretty bad last time we played. I may have offended her, I don't know her very well.

    Girls take losing personal?

It's in the realm of possibility. I think it doesn't matter if the person in question is a man or not. In my experience, when one loses a lot of games, they become discouraged and just disappear from the scene. For good.

The only difference between the men and the women, is the women would more than likely not return because of the dominance of male figures...the paranoia of one of them "making a move." This statement, I believe, would hold more truth to it the younger and more physically attractive the woman in question would be.

i don't take it well when i lose a game, to be honest. I hate losing, but i don't quit playing chess of that reason. Instead, i'll try to improve my chess skills and then hopefully i'll beat the opponent next time. Losing a game or two give me motivation.

Recently i joined the chess club in my city. Me and my friend is the only girls in the club. I have only been there one time, and the club evenings is starting after the summer, but i got a really great impression after the first and the only time i've been there.

May your opponents get their Kings mated.
