In that case, Nietzsche would need a God to believe in, or an absolute change on his philosophical project, the revaluation of all values... perhaps Über Frauen! Laughing

Rael you should remove that depressing avatar of yours & go to confession for pretending to be what you are not!

Try this one, it would suit you better!

I'm aware of the Nieztsche quote, Paul, and as much as I love people quoting Nietzsche to me (Diana knows I love him), this is a really simple matter - and I'm not going to debate Christianity in a thread on chess.com unless we're in the Open Discussion or the Exotic Quixotics.

It's a matter of respect (one of the words Gabriel likes to sign off with, I might add). Imagine for a moment that the drooling gif gab had posted was of your dead grandfather. It was in terrible taste for him to post it. It's been removed. Issue over.

If any Nietzsche quotes are applicable here, I'm sure I can dig some out about ressentiment which would be apt for Mr. Murray to have a look at.

Not sure I follow you, I only translated the quote for people that know nothing about german, not discussing religion, where are you from? another planet, can you not understsand a simple translation without discussing religion ?

I am not discussing religion let it be said at times you do have a narrow mind or simply like to answer a post.

So say zilch and do not offend me with your quibble by caviling

Your english is not too bad I will help you here:

The only Christian died on the cross!

My english is much better than any second language you could learn, so your help was not necessary, you just wanted to show in this forum how much culte you are. And it's ok, if you don't use me as an pretext!

And I should add,  Paul... Why don't you read full thread before posting your comments? Nobody was talking to you about religion, it was the thread subject before you posted your translation!!!

*Sigh*  This is a pointless argument!  (Except the part about your English, Diana.  Smile)

"What does not destroy me, makes me stronger."  That's it for Nietzsche quotes that I know!

Insanity in individuals is something rare, but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.

Herd behaviour is more or less, individuals in a group can act together without planned direction.
