If so, join the Minor Masters! Our ultimate goal is to have all chess.com users 16 and under to play for our group. We also have a group tournament starting in a few days so join shortly for the best experience!
Hello im under 16.
I am at the moment 16 but will become 17 in september.
What are you doing in minor masters? and is it any idea for me to join?
When ih8sens said " We also have a group tournament starting in a few days"
what he meant was, that there is a tournament starting just between the members of the Minor Masters group only [in-house so to speak].
He didn't mean team vs team or group vs group.
oh no no no....
we'll just keep em till their well over 16 like 18 or so
The final word on this was that we will accept anyone 16 or under. Once they turn 18 and are no longer MINORS (hence the term 'minor masters') they will be removed and 'graduated' to a new group that will be made at that time for 'minor master graduates'.
Of course, I'm just some ol' Joe in the group... not like what I say has any weight :D
truedat i guess we'd just ask them to leave (nicely)
Look our group has a public forum about this topic here:

do they become Major Minors then ?
As add wrote:
that's fine with me, but once they turn 18 they should be kicked off, because we don't want them growing older and older and still being members that will screw up the hole idea of "Minor Masters"
Well, we'll face that when it becomes a true problem.
