JMB2010
He is 11.
Just look him up. He has a USCF rating of 2077 so it's not hard to check his stats online.
JMB2010 - very impressive for your age. Goodluck on your quest for GM. At this rate you'll make it in no time.
Thanks guys but really its nothing-I know a 10 year old NM and a 12 year old 2470

I might be good enough to win the U1 world championship.

I would say so
one of the good parts about being part of the USA contingent for the World Youth group last year in Slovenia was that I got to know and be friends many of the players on the team. In my group, the U12 group, it was a super strong group with a number of masters. As such, we've got a situation in the US now where we have 2 12-year olds who have a rating above 2450 (FM Jeffery Xiong and gold medalist IM Sam Sevian), along with another 12 year old whose at 2300 (silver medalist FM Cameron Wheeler).
There were some cute 12 year old girls too on the team but they didn't want to hang out with the boys. Now on the other hand, the 14 year olds girls did hang out with the 14 year old boys a lot...
How long have you played?
me, 5+ years worth of tournament games. Learned the game in kindergarten but didn't start taking the game seriously until end of 1st grade.
I learned when I joined this site, and haven't improved at all.
