Does someone know how to paste moves in arena please ?

for example :

1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 *

Did you try Crtl+V? That would do it in WinBoard, which of course doesn't necessarily mean it would do it in Arena, but it is pretty much a standard keystroke for 'paste from clipboard' in any application...

I had try but it doesn't work.

So except having a pgn to open moves, i don't know how to do to copy paste moves. Very boring to don't have this and surprising in a soft.

Menu: Game --> Get PGN from Clipboard

(or Shift + F6)

I just want to copy-paste texte (a list moves like 1.e4 e5 * without creating a pgn).

It with working with chessbase, schredder but how with arena, please ??

Adding a header doesn't change. Still not working in arena.

I select with the mouse the text  :

1.e4 e5

then i copy (ctrl+c)

then in arena i paste (control + v)

Then in Arena shift + F6 (and then of course click "Load"), or Menu: Game --> Get PGN from Clipboard as posted above by EscherehcsE

Thanks, it is working but i have to cancel first " the shift+f6 " window then open again this window to be able to paste....well, not important it is nice like this.

You don't need a pgn file. Just copy the moves and press Shift + F6. (And then of course, Load.) You can add a header if you want, but you don't need one.

Yes, thanks i have understand now.

My mistake was to copy the text with ctrl+c and not right click mouse. Arena doesn't recognize the short cut with text (with pgn is it ok).
