ROFLMAO...all of these arrogant threads. I particularly liked the Glen Beck clip. Give it 5 stars.

Chess is akin to war. The opponent simply wants to beat the crap out of you and take all your candy. It is that simple. Your objective is to do the exact opposite.

Wimping out about arrogance doesn't help. Opponents can be far more obnoxious than arrogant, in  many, many ways. Don't let that stop you from mounting a full scale assault.

Thanks, all, for the laughs...I needed that.

Want to know who was the biggest whiner, cry baby of chess who ever lived?

    Answer: Bobby Fischer

Sheesh...I could give many examples. They are self evident to anyone who has researched him.

I have personally lived through his melodramas since I was born the same year as Bobby and grew up in the same neighborhood. What a talent!!! What a whiner!!!

    OK: Just one example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdmQj8zo6_c

So as not to be so tough on just Bobby, here's another laugh...Garry Kasparov's wrong move:

P.S.: This is one reason why I only play OTB...it cracks me up to see the facial expressions and body language of an opponent (only when I'm winning, of course).
