    My favorite part:

"He has also discovered that the way people play has evolved. According to his analysis, the player now ranked No. 40 in the world plays as well as Anatoly Karpov did in the 1970s, when he was world champion and was described as a machine."

Though I would like to see how he determined this, it doesn't surprise me. I have asserted similiar in several threads around here. Imporved training methods, earlier starts, and a larger pool of talent to pick from: chess players today are better than players from previous decades. Fischer from 1972 put in a time machine would struggle just to make it into the candidates tournament.

yes i am very close to CM hehehehehe

btw how would kranik even cheat in the bathroom? a small pda or phone chess engine would be horrible especially at the WCC level even with the best phone. Or is the phone just accessing a remote engine running on a super rig? although i dont see how he can analyze still, ive never seen a little PC like that that lets you set up any position to analyze.
