    I'm not trying to be confrontational but this is my opinion: as valuable as it is to get someone of Roman Dzindichashvili's caliber teaching openings, I don't think videos are the best way to learn openings. All the variations go by too quickly with too little explanation to bring understanding, and understanding is the best way to remember and succeed. I think videos are a good method for learning positional chess but not tactics/patterns/openings because they are so specific. Positional chess is like a book on tape whereas openings are like math on a tape :).

    I agree with Danny, the videos are a good way to get the flavor of an opening and a feel for the ideas. They're a starting point for the student, not the end.
