You aren't the only one. Yoshirools is another example.

Anyways, to end this thread on a light-hearted note, I propose we imitate each other and see who can imitate the best. I will start by imitating Suggo:

Suggo: CoolLaughing

[Someone else]: Suggo, could you please clarify your view point?

Suggo: CoolCoolCoolCoolLaughingLaughingLaughingLaughing

[Someone else]: Sorry, what was that?

LOL, did they annoy you that much Suker!

I can't say I am that upset that I got under your skin so!

I admit I do the face thing too, but mine were only single faces. They weren't annoying really (I use them myself after all) and I didn't notice at first, but posts #294 and #303 brought them to my attention.

You didn't start out talking like that though. I think you only started "mass facing" after I said something along the lines of "Calm down, don't be upset. You are too sensitive about sensitive people."

I've found that the only people who do this are patzers. Any self-respecting, decent player will resign.

These comments are condescending.

Kupov: want to resign?

Kupov: oh you would rather try and force a stalemate... cute!

Don't let your arrogance fool you.

Arrogance? If it's arrogant to believe I can win an endgame with an eight point material advantage then I guess I am arrogant...

I wouldn't have to be condescending if you didn't do things like offer me a draw...

The game was running at a very good pace, which is how I play all my games.  When you make remarks like that you may find that it can cause the other player to dislike you.  In my case I was positioning for a stalemate, then probably would have resigned.  Your comments changed my mind.  Pretty much guarantees a slow end to the game.  I am sure it is your comments that cause much of your misery against other players.  They just don't like you and slow down.  Comments like this do not help...

Kupov: want to resign?

Kupov: oh you would rather try and force a stalemate... cute!

Kupov: you should resign because this game is over and it's in everybodies best interest to finish it, do you really think that you can win or draw this position?

or like this...

I see that you are currently online. Would you care to make another move towards your inevitable defeat in our current tournament game? Or perhaps you would like to resign. by Kupov 8 minutes ago

see you in two days.

I only use the word condescending to describe your words because you used it yourself: "I wouldn't have to be condescending if you didn't do things like offer me a draw..."

Is saying "Want to resign?" really all that condescending?

It's not said with any particular malice or condescension, I have won the game, he can easily see this.

Of course it is. You're practically rubbing it in...

No I admit to being condescending later on after he offered me the draw. However I don't think that my first remark is rude at all.

The draw was offered after the remarks.

Kupov: want to resign?

Kupov: oh you would rather try and force a stalemate... cute!

Kupov: you should resign because this game is over and it's in everybodies best interest to finish it, do you really think that you can win or draw this position?

at this point I am insulted so I offered the draw

Kupov: why would I accept a draw?

I wasn't commenting on any mark at all, either way, except the precise one which I quoted

You have the dubious dishonour of being one of the only players who I have ever asked to resign.

Before I would ever ask an opponent to resign the position would have to be;

1. Totally won for myself (and it is)

2. Endgame (I wouldn't ask someone to resign if they had even a small chance of an attack on my king)

A link to the game in question ? Also, at which point did he offer a draw ?
