Why don't you upgrade your membership? I know, I'm not well place to say that either, but it cost money to run this website.

Basic members should be allowed two tournaments because you want more than what you agreed to.  Not a compelling argument.  And why stop there?  Why not 5 or 10?  Why not access to Chess Mentor and all the features of this site.

You pay nothing and say its only fair you be given more because you want it.  How wrong is that?

Do you play in them at the same time or separately?

You can register to play in all the official chess.com tournaments if your timeout ratio is 10% or less.

Most of those are Chess.com tourneys so you can play more at once. They don't do many though.

I'm currently in 2 tournaments, at the same time, you can only play 1 member arranged tournament at a time, but there is no limit to how many chess.com official tournaments you can play.

Tbh, this site does a great job and being able to play all the official chess.com tournaments while not paying is hardly bad.

Memberships are well worth the money and if you dont want to pay then play in 1 tourney at a time
