So what is the best program to help analyze games and give good feedback, i used chessmaster way back in the day, and lately I've heard talk about fritz and stuff. Just curious on your opinions.
This topic has been discussed a number of times on this site.This maybe why you get no response.
You can go to the search box and type: search engines and you will get 3 pages of forums posts. You can also type in the search box: chess equipment but you do get here many pages to cover and find what you are looking for.
Or you can also go directly to :

Hope this helps.
I'll respond, even though paul211 is correct! I find, for beginners and new intermediate players, Chessmaster. It's great for an "overall" program. However, if you're going to really improve your tactics, openings, etc you have to get into things like Chessbase, Personal Chess Trainer, Chess Mentor, etc. I don't think there is a "one size fits all" progrom for more advanced players.;
what is chessbase and personal chess trainer?
im assuming the chess mentor your talking about is the one on this website
There is a lot of good training on Chess Mentor.
