Best is the best chess board size for online blitz chess?

I was wondering what the typical size board you guys use when playing online blitz chess. Do you use small boards, on the theory that your eyes don't have to scan as much, or do you simply use what the system gives you?

yea I've noticed that smaller boards do help more. For me I think reading chess tactics books with small diagrams is so similar to the smallest board size online.

I use what they give me but my mouse has been dropping pieces before where I planned to move and it has cost me every game I've lost. New mouse is on the agenda today. I find it different to play vertically on my desk computer than a board. I am getting used to the change but sometimes I use my tablet to play and that helps. Matt
