    When you're done playing and analyzing your games, write down your thoughts on each move like you're explaining it to an observer. Doing this has added 200 points to my rating in about a week.

    MY SYSTEM, by Aaron Nimzovitch

    1001 BRILLIANT CHESS SACRAFICES AND COMBINATIONS, by Fred Reinfeld.

    Play openings where you are castled in 4 or 5 moves.

    Think before EVERY move, never get lazy in any position.  Be it winning, losing, or equal being lazy can throw the game away.
