That is why the chess world (and the world in general) cheered when this year's Chess World Championship came down to a few bullet games.
They were rapid games, I actually think bullet wouldve been good to watch lol
this a$$hole is obviously ACivilizedGentlemen reincarnated.
They don't give out any championships for being good at bullet.
so... what's your otb rating?
Snip3z, hes an 11or 12 year old kid that's 2050ish OTB.
it's funny how you take a troll thread so seriously. No, i'm not 11 or 12, and no i'm 2050 otb.
What is the point of this thread? Did you just start this thread to announce how good you're rating is?
better say hello to 'johnny'.
Bullet is all tactics no strategy. It's an admirable and usefull skill to quickly discern great tactical shots. But there's more to standard and OTB chess. To reach a certain level in standard and OTB you must have a sense of strategy because your opponents can analyze your (as well as their own) tactical possibilities of a position given sufficient time. That's where the advantage of a quick grasp of tactical shots is neutralized. It's a different game and a great and usefull skill for all levels of play but not the deciding factor in "regular" chess.
The point of the thread is to re-iterate what all serious chess players and professionals know, that Bullet chess is much more challenging and more highly regarded than slower time control chess, such as standard G150 and what not.
LOL, well (im serious when i say this), thats the most ridiculous nonsense that has been said ever about chess players EVER.
You must be new here.
Bullet chess is not chess- Nakamura (from his book).
SOOO FAST MOUSE IS SKILLFUL?
Why stop at post 84? You were so close to 100 LOL.
You have bullet and bullet. There was this great documentary in which carlsen plays the second best in his country. Carlsen 1 minute. The other guy 3. Carlsen wins all the games with superior play. It is possible to be both great and fast, but that is a whole different ballgame...
There's a bunch of these on Youtube:
Blitz shows talent, OTB shows preperation and understanding.., both r different, so no comparision is to be done:)
First it was speed and now it's talent.
Bullet is talent and preparation. Nuff said kiddos
Guys, snip3z is obviously a retard. Why waste time talking with him/her/it when we can discuss about bullet ourselves, without him/her/it?
u call people kiddos and ur quite young urself judging from ur profile,.....be serious
U r not old enough to call others kiddos and not good enough to talk about bullet, since ur playing at a chess sight and not on a real board, try playing bullet with no premoves and autoqueening....
