@kenpo: Exactly. Nonetheless, failing to detect it is often met with scorn, probably because they don't understand those points of yours.
BULLET TAKES MORE SKILL THAN OTB CHESS
I think my BS detector went off (again).
Your detector was must have been SCREAMING.
It detected so much BS that came in the post before, that it was in pain, begging to be put out of its misery.
These forums desparately need a DERP detector. Only the cognoscente have access to that piece of specialized equipment. Myself excluded.

There's BS, and then there's @Kenpo. He leaves all others in the dust.

Oh, yeah, in a "class" by himself.
I don't understand how normal chess is better.A quote from a GM said
"I play bullet chess as I believe it requires more logical thinking in a shorter period of time, and hence it helps my standard games as I am able to think of a variety of strong moves under time pressure."
Proves my point kiddo.
All GMs lose games, therefore they are not omnicient, therefore the generic grandmaster you quoted is not nessecarily correct... therefore your point remains unproven, kiddo.
Also, how is it that you have a lower rating at what is supposedly a lower-skill game (blitz)?
Thanks to this post of Mr. snipez, I'm starting to love reading articles here in chess.com. I think it's more fun reading posts than playing chess nowadays :).
Just like all the hurt heal threads, right?
pretty much, except its less painful because it doesnt require some people to share their thoughts on a topic
Competition is relative to the competitors. Whichever has more people dedicating more time will be tougher.
Bullet, Blitz and Standard chess are really different games altogether. I can't see any point comparing them.
