How do I rid myself of the "Welcome to Chess.Com IM" callout?

You R the pits - go into the program and turn off 'chats' - geese, talk about stupid...

..but I don't want it there from the start. Can it not be defaulted to "open chat box" instead of the now "close chat box"???
